What it does
Why Coating Beats Wax In This Climate
A ceramic coating is a liquid that cures into a hard, slick layer bonded to your paint. Water sheets off it, dust and brake dust struggle to stick, and washing stops being a fight. Wax gives you weeks of that. A coating gives you years.
In Las Vegas the real enemy is UV. Sun here oxidises paint and fades trim faster than almost anywhere, and a coating is the practical defence — which is why we coat glass, wheel faces, headlights and exterior plastics, not just the painted panels.
Prep is most of the job. Every coating starts with a wash, a decontamination and paint correction, because a coating locks in whatever is underneath it. Swirls sealed under a ten-year coating stay there for ten years. We install System X Ceramic Protection.

Basic polish is included on cars one year old or newer. Heavier correction is quoted separately after we measure the clear coat. Most coating jobs take several days — entry tiers on a well-kept car can be one to two days, premium tiers with full correction often take three to five, and the car cures indoors at our shop.

How it works
How A Coating Runs
STEP 01
Inspect
We inspect paint, glass, wheels and plastics, check for a previous coating, and recommend the tier that fits how you drive and how long you are keeping the car.
STEP 02
Wash & Decontaminate
A full wash and chemical decontamination to strip anything bonded to the paint, because the coating bonds to whatever we leave behind.
STEP 03
Correct
Machine correction to remove swirls and marring rather than fill them. Basic polish is included on cars a year old or newer.
STEP 04
Coat & Cure
The coating is applied panel by panel and levelled, then the car cures indoors at our shop before it goes back out.

Ceramic Coating Questions
WHAT BRANDS DO YOU USE?
3M and System X. We use 3M on our entry tiers and System X — Pro+, Max G+ and Phantom — on our premium tiers.
HOW LONG DOES IT LAST?
By tier: six months on the 3M Sports Coating, three years on the 3M 3-Year, six years on System X Pro+ and ten years on System X Max G+, our most popular. The Ultimate Package uses System X Phantom, a two-part 2K coating, and carries a lifetime warranty.
IS IT BETTER THAN WAX?
For durability, clearly. Wax lasts weeks to a couple of months. A coating lasts from six months to a lifetime depending on tier, and it protects glass, wheels and trim as well as paint. Do not add wax on top of a coating without talking to us first.
DOES IT STOP ROCK CHIPS?
No. A coating is chemical and UV protection, not impact protection. If chips are the concern you want paint protection film, and plenty of customers run film on the front with a coating over the whole car.
DO I STILL HAVE TO WASH IT?
Yes, but it gets much easier. Dirt has less to hold onto and most of it comes off with a rinse and a gentle wash. Avoid automatic brushes, which is good advice coated or not.

Most jobs take several days. Entry tiers on a well-kept car can be one to two days; premium tiers with full correction often take three to five. Your car stays with us while it cures, and we usually schedule about a week out.
